Our book, Power of 4, is crafted specifically for men. It speaks directly to their experiences, challenges, and aspirations. Yet, intriguingly, we've noticed an overwhelmingly positive response from women. So, the question arises: Why is a book about men resonating so deeply with women?
Is it curiosity that drives women to search keywords related to men-centric websites? What's prompting them to leave glowing ? And why are women registering on the P4 website, ardently praying for the impact we aim to create among men nationwide?
The answer is simple yet profound. These women are wives, mothers, sisters, and friends who desire to see the men in their lives thrive - to evolve into better husbands, dedicated fathers, effective leaders, devout servants of God, and supportive brothers in faith.
There is a story about a group of women who prayed for 15 years for the men in the next town down the road. When a group of men started meeting in that next town over the hill the group of women signed up to continue to pray for them by doing “drive by prayer” while the men had their meeting. Each week one woman volunteered to drive to the next town and sit in her car praying outside the home where the men met.
Why would women be so committed over such a long period of time?
What drives this level of dedication? Why would women invest so much time and effort in such an act? The motivations may vary, but one thing is crystal clear: they deeply believed in the power of prayer and were convinced that only God could truly answer their heartfelt pleas.
Here at P4, we urge men to form groups of four, sharing our own experiences of how such interactions have positively transformed our lives. And while this challenge holds significance, the subsequent one is even more crucial: cultivate a profound connection with God.
